They’re the cover socks from Wendy Johnson’s Socks from the Toe Up, a pattern known as Hearts and Flowers.
Most notable mod: I made them a couple of pattern repeats longer than in the book, and I added an 18-row k1p1 ribbing at the top, for extra cling. (Mostly ’cause I don’t trust my own knitting, not as a reflection on the pattern.)
Yarn: Happy 4-ply by Wendy (not sure if it’s the same Wendy), in the “Libra” colorway. It’s a gorgeous yarn, made of 75% bamboo and 25% nylon, which makes it perfect for here in Florida. 420 meters per skein.
Total knitting time: 48 hours over 2 weeks. (finished 9/18)
