8. Love Walked In by Marisa De Los Santos – What a wonderful book! This book takes chick lit to a new height and leaves you warmed through and through. I found myself a bit teary-eyed more than once and moved to laughter even more often. The author, a poet, imbues this tale of love in all its forms with lyric touches and language that sings, leaving a golden glow in its wake. Read this and you will want to share it with your best girlfriends. (finished 3/6)
9. An Echo in the Bone by Diana Gabaldon – Loved this book!! Enough that I don’t even really mind all the hours I spent reading its 814 pages, rather than knitting. And I can’t wait (although wait I must, possibly another two years or more) for the next book in the series, which will continue the saga of Claire Fraser and her clan. (finished 3/27)
