Yarns: about 1/3 skein Bernat Lulu and a small amount of Plymouth Yarn Heaven Lite
Needle: US size 8 circular
I cast on 45 stitches. I knit stockinette in the round (to make a rolled brim) in the lilac Bernat Lulu for 5 rounds, then switched to a contrasting white (Plymouth Yarn Heaven Lite) and did K1P1 rib for 7 rounds (till i ran out). Next I picked up the lilac again and worked stockinette until the hat measured about 6 inches from the cast-on edge. Then I worked decreases evenly over 4 rounds. When I had 9 stitches on the needles, I pulled the tail (about a foot left by then) through the loops and tightened to close the “hole”. I wove in all the ends and it was done.
