On a charity "square"
Yarn: Plymouth Yarn Encore (worsted weight, 75/25 acrylic/wool) in a dark blue color. The skein has 200 yds and I used about half of it.
Needle: US size 7 circular
Pattern: my own K1P1 fingerless mitt pattern, devised while making the BC14′s pair last year
Mods: The original pair was made from a chunky yarn, while this one was from worsted. As they are supposed to be for a woman (reportedly not a woman with “man hands”) I wanted them to be smaller than the original pair. So I used the smaller needle, but otherwise kept to the original stitch and row count. And the result? Pretty much perfect, if the woman/recipient has hands about the same size as mine.
