Identical to FO 1 for this year, these mitts used some more of the same two super-saver skeins of Red Heart acrylic stuff in my stash, in a jewel-toned variegated colorway. (Ball band lost ages ago, and it’s a discontinued colorway, so I couldn’t find it on the RH website.)
As with the previous pair, I followed the same formula I devised while making these mitts for the BC14 in November 2010 (FO 19 for 2010), but I made them about an inch shorter after the thumb. The yarn is less chunky than in the ones I made the BC14, so the resulting mitts are smaller. The shorter length just makes sense.
