Free online pattern… or at least it was in 2004, when I printed it out. The pattern link I used then is now defunct. [ETA: Thanks, RobinH, for finding the new pattern link!]
Yarn: Bernat Baby Jacquard. It’s 90% acrylic/10% nylon. The colorway is called “Berries & Cream,” featuring pastel pink and lemony yellow. The skein has 3.5 oz, which equals 346 yards, and I used about 2/3-3/4 of a skein. (That’s a guesstimate. I should have enough yarn left to do a hat and booties, too.)
Needle: US size 2 circular (Addi turbo lace)
Mods: I decided to do the sleeves in the round, rather than flat (as the pattern calls for). The pattern is a learn-to-knit deal, and I don’t think the writer wanted to tackle in-the-round knitting in this project.
The pattern never specifies a target “size”, but the FO looks to me like it came out as appropriate for a baby of 3-6 months.
