I cut a rectangle of blue velour that was about 10 inches wide and 24 inches long. I folded it in half to and sewed two sides of it to make a pouch. Then I folded down a self casing on each side of the opening, leaving the casings open on both ends. I then threaded two ribbons through the casings, tying the ends into simple knots. You can close the pouch of pulling one out each end and tying those together.
I wasn’t going to count this as an FO, as it was so simple and only took about 15 minutes to make, but a friend of mine said that I should, as this kind of thing might’ve been easy for me, but it would have taken her two hours and at least one broken sewing-machine needle.
I used the pouch as part of Cupcake’s costume for the second weekend, hanging it off a ring on her leather belt.
