When I saw my nephew Jacob a couple of weeks ago, he asked me to make him a cowl-style neckwarmer to match his hat. And he wanted it soon, please. Bearing in mind that we both live in north central Florida, I couldn’t wait too long if there was to be any chance at all of wearing it this winter.
I wanted his neckwarmer to be appropriately masculine, so I stuck to a classic k3p1 rib.
I’m too lazy to dig out my camera right now, so I took a crapola-cam (i.e., cellphone) photo, then tweaked it to try to approximate the teal color of the yarn. (It photographed very blue.)
Here’s the photo:
I need to get it in the mail to him Tuesday, as today’s not gonna happen** and the post office is closed Sunday and Monday.

** Well, okay, today is gonna happen, but me getting to the post office today is not. It’s almost bedtime already and the PO will be closed by the time I get up to go to work.

Very handsome!
